Starter and Growth plans are tied to transaction ceilings. When work moves beyond those boundaries or falls outside the standard bookkeeping automation model, the account shifts into the corresponding surcharge or upgrade path so the service level stays aligned to the actual workload.

Service Level & Delivery Schedules
S&S Bookkeeping Services operates on two delivery models:
Clean-State Model
(Standard & Growth tiers)
Monthly books are reconciled, categorized, and delivered within 24 hours of month-end closing. No legacy cleanup required.
Discovery-First Model
(For accounts with legacy data or complex restatements)
Requires initial discovery phase (1–2 weeks) to understand historical structure, cleanup scope, and restoration effort, then shifts to standard Clean-State cadence.
Out-of-Scope Work & Add-Ons
The following are not included in standard service tiers and are billed separately:
Tax Preparation & Filing
$499–$999 per return
Federal, state, or local returns. Costs vary widely based on entity type and complexity.
Audit Support
$99 per hour
Working with CPA auditors and external audit teams.
Legal Entity Formation

LLC setup, S-Corp elections, and related entity structuring.
Payroll Processing
$99 per run + $9/employee overage
Standalone payroll outside monthly bookkeeping scope (up to 5 staff). Excess employees $9/month each.
Ad-Hoc Consulting

Data Migration or Cleanup
