Data Deletion Policy
This policy explains the current approach to deletion requests and removal of information associated with ssbookkeeping.app.
SOC 2-aligned engineering, HIPAA technical safeguard readiness, and GDPR-oriented privacy operations.
1. Current scope
The current portal and pricing experience are limited to the approved workflows described on this site. Live production data handling, file exchange, and client-specific workflow storage are not broadly enabled through the public experience unless separately implemented.
2. Deletion requests
If you want information removed, the request should identify the relevant account or contact context with enough detail for us to locate it safely and accurately.
3. Limits on deletion
Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, bookkeeping, audit, contractual, security, or operational recordkeeping obligations.
4. Infrastructure and backup timing
Deletion may not be immediate across every technical layer, particularly where infrastructure logs, backups, or security records exist for limited operational retention windows.
5. Future updates
As portal, pricing, and data workflows expand, this policy should be updated to reflect the exact deletion process, channels, and retention boundaries.
